DIY Storage Building

There was a time, way back in the old days, when folks had to figure out their own building plans for storage barns/sheds. Today, the Internet has many resources, some free where you can find storage building plans and build your own shed/barn with your own hands. There is a certain pride and sense of accomplishment in doing these things yourself.

Reasons to build your own storage building using storage building plans:

• Cheaper – You can find cheap materials at local lumber yards or at home improvement stores. Your storage building plans should include a list of the materials you need for this project.

• Next you will prepare and install the windows and door(s).

That is how you build a storage building with your own two hands and the sweat of your brow. Remember to get the right storage building plans and follow the instructions so you get it right the first time. • Take the lumber for the side rails and screw them into place on the headboard and foot board.
• Place the slats into the slat holders you installed along the bottom of the bed rails.
